Information we process

Global Excellence Certification processes account, identity-verification, examination, proctoring, credential, employment, partner-referral, payment, device, and communication-preference data needed to operate the platform.

Why it is processed

Data is used to authenticate users, verify identities, administer and protect examinations, issue and verify certificates, rank consenting certified candidates, connect candidates with verified employers, prevent fraud, provide support, maintain audit records, and send promotions where consent has been granted.

Proctored examinations

Before an examination starts, candidates are informed that camera, microphone, screen-sharing, browser activity, and integrity events may be monitored and recorded. Proctoring evidence is restricted to authorized reviewers and is used to assess examination integrity.

Candidate directory and CVs

Candidates control directory visibility. Contact details and CV files are available only according to the selected visibility setting and platform authorization rules. Employers must be verified before accessing protected candidate records.

Partner referrals and marketing

Authorized partners must record a lawful permission basis before submitting a person for promotional contact. Promotional delivery is rechecked against the current consent status, and every eligible recipient can withdraw consent through the unsubscribe page.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be shared with payment, communications, hosting, storage, security, identity, and proctoring service providers only as needed to deliver the service. Information may also be disclosed where legally required.

Retention and security

Records are retained only for operational, credential-verification, contractual, dispute, fraud-prevention, and legal requirements. Controls include role-based access, encryption in transit, restricted file access, audit logs, CSRF protection, session security, and database backups.

Your choices

Users may update profile data, change directory visibility, withdraw marketing consent, and request access, correction, restriction, export, or deletion where applicable. Credential and audit records may be retained where necessary to preserve examination integrity and prevent fraud.
